Donovan Hall aka DJ Don Gordo is the founder of Motown On Mondays.

Under his direction MOM has thrown events in over 40 cities, 5 countries, currently operates 10 weekly chapters across the globe, plus a weekly radio show on the FM dial and the party is still growing. It is arguably one of the most successful weekly nightlife events anywhere.

Donovan himself has opened for and/or shared the bill with The Weekend, Eryka Badu, The Ting Tings, Mayer Hawthorne, Sharon Jones, Questlove, Fatboy Slim, Jazzy Jeff, The Pharcyde, Ashanti and so many others.  He has performed at many major festivals/events including Treasure Island Music Festival (3X), Bottlerock Napa Valley (6X), Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (3X), Carnaval, Outside Lands, Asian Heritage Festival, America's Cup  and more.  Donovan DJ'd his first wedding over 20yrs ago and has continued to perfect this skillset to be adaptable to his clients wishes and unique tastes, while also bringing invaluable experience to the table. 

Having played in bands for over 7yrs and still regularly adding live elements to his live gigs, Donovan loves to combine live musicians such as horns, guitar, percussion, etc, with his DJ sets. DJing an average of 200 events a year, responsible for another 500+ annually (under MOM DJs & Events) and having worn many hats within the industry...  It is safe to say Donovan is more than qualified and ready for it all.
